SF6 Gas Testing & 230kV GIS Circuit Breaker Works — SMC Power Plant
Project Overview:
Hyojeong Power3 Construction Corp. carried out SF6 gas handling, analysis, and grounding system integrity testing in Limay, Bataan. Following this, we performed SF6 gas leakage testing of 230kV GIS circuit breakers and the bus system at the SMC Power Plant in Mariveles, Bataan. Consequently, this project became a key addition to our electrical construction portfolio.
Scope of Work:
Our team handled SF6 gas handling and analysis, plus grounding system integrity testing. We also completed leakage testing of 230kV GIS circuit breakers and bus system inspection. Throughout the project, we maintained strict safety protocols and used specialized testing equipment to ensure the integrity of high-voltage gas-insulated switchgear.
230kV GIS Circuit Breaker Replacement — NGCP Substations
Project Overview:
We replaced 230kV circuit breakers (GIS type) at two NGCP substations — San Rafael, Bulacan and Olongapo, Zambales. Additionally, this electrical construction portfolio project included secondary electrical works covering controls, protections, metering, alarms, and interlocking circuits at both substation sites. As a result, both facilities now operate with improved reliability and safety.
Scope of Work:
Our team performed full replacement of GIS-type circuit breakers. We then completed comprehensive secondary works including wiring of control and protection panels, metering systems, alarm circuits, and interlocking logic. All work followed NGCP standards and energized-system safety requirements.
LUECO 69kV Transmission Line Reconductoring & Phase 3 Extension
Project Overview:
This multi-phase project for LUECO (Luz de Pampanga Electric Cooperative) involved reconductoring about 5.0 km of the existing 69kV transmission line. Specifically, we upgraded conductors from 2/0 AWG Cu to 336.4MCM TACSR across 50 structures. Furthermore, Phase 3 included installation and conductor stringing for an additional 7.4 km covering 113 structures, further strengthening our electrical construction portfolio in Pampanga.
Scope of Work:
We completed full reconductoring works, tower structure assessment and upgrades, conductor stringing and tensioning, and infrared scanning of junctions and dead ends upon energization. Additionally, we handled a separate 2.5km 13.2kV transmission line conductor stringing project for the same client.
500kV Transmission Tower Erection & Foundation Works — NGCP/MDC
Project Overview:
One of our most significant electrical construction portfolio projects: erection of Tower CD-43 for the NGCP/MDC 500kV transmission line in Barangay Pangil, Amadeo, Cavite, completed on 12 September 2025. Alongside this, we handled concrete foundation construction for Tower 82 in Cabangan, Zambales, and full sagging and clipping works in Gapan, Nueva Ecija. Therefore, this project showcases our capability to handle major infrastructure across multiple provinces.
Scope of Work:
Our team managed heavy civil works including tower foundation excavation and concrete pouring, structural steel tower assembly and erection, and full sagging and clipping of 500kV conductors. Throughout the project, we maintained strict NGCP/MDC safety and quality standards despite challenging field conditions.
